Most household cleaners will clean spots, but the detergent has to be removed from the carpet. We use a powerful vacuum and water extraction to remove any detergent from the carpet or furniture. The best way to clean a spot is water and if needed dish detergent. Dab at the spot with a clean white towel or paper towel to extract as much of the moisture and detergent as possible.
